Coffee and Cake

This is my entry for the http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com challenge this week 3 squares.

I found the images in google and used my promarkers to colour them in. Not very good yet at shading but with a bit of practice I am sure I will improve. The card is C6 Cream Hammered. I cut them out with Nestabilities Squares and mounted them on pearlescent card. Added a few gems for "decoration". Enjoy.........

  1. Hi Sandra
Super card I like all the added embellies.
You have probably just about got the CAS ok, anymore would really have been too much
    Enjoy practicing the shading

  2. Almost good enough to eat.
I wonder what the effect would have been if you'd reduced the size of the images so that there was no need for overlapping? Just a thought!
Thanks for joining us once more Sandra,
We'll see you again next week!

  3. Love that sentiment - coffee and cake! My idea of heaven. Super card - love the colours. I agree with Chrissie that smaller images might be an idea. Worth a try to see!

  5. Great card - I think this is a design you could have played around with. Love what you've done, but as I looked at it I was thinking like Chrissie that you could have reduced the size and had three in a row or maybe even a large one in the centre and two smaller.
So many variations and all fun to try.
