Less is More Challange - Week 15 - Embossing

Good Morning all LIMettes. This is my "effort " for todays challenge. I am not into stamping so have very limited stamps but found this one and thought it appropriate as it was my 67th Birthday yesterday so I am still celebrating. I used a very pale blue pearlescant card A6 landscape. Cuttlebug embossing folder and silver ink pad and embossing powder. Just highlighted the few flowers across the front with a silver glue stick. Off to watch a little video my son sent me, my grandson of 9 months has just started to crawl and they captured the moment for me and sent it in an e-mail as I live so far away. The wonders of the Internet.

    Two kinds of embossing no less!It may be the angle of the picture, but it looks as though the sentiment is slightly tilted up on one side.... the way around this is to use a Stampamajig... Mandi sells them but I made one out of Lego!

    I like this card, I would have moved the sentiment to the right hand corner above the embossing panel, but that's just me... It's a great card nonetheless
