This is Card No 2. I had time late afternoon (after my planting and grass cutting) and found this piece of gold printed acetate (Dawn Bibby) I used my nesties to make a frame in gold mirri card and cut a hole in the front of the card to match. Mounted the acetate onto the back of the frame - it looks very neat at the back of the card when open. I tried my hand at stamping and gold embossing (why does the card tend to bend when heating with a heat gun?) added gold card candy and this is the result.
Lovely card.
ReplyDeleteAnother fab creation, love it. i love gold on a card makes it look so elegent.

ReplyDeleteLovely elegant card
ReplyDeleteSandra, this turned out fabulous! LOVE that gold frame!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Sandra. Some card does bend with heating...I usually find putting it under something heavy while it cools down helps, unless you have a fragile embellishment on it that is :)

I think that using the heat gun at a greater distance and taking a bit longer to achieve the effect you want helps too Sandra.
ReplyDeleteYou're really on a roll this week!

Your card is pretty
ReplyDeleteHeat embossing will always buckle card slight.y, try heating from the back for a shinier effect and further away. The slower heat guns are better, that are shaped like a hair dryer. Once cool [few mins] just put the card in-between some books, it will flatten
