The gravel is now all spread and looking lovely, we've just had a very sharp rain shower so I came in to create. I cann't take all the credit for this as the image was designed by "create with TLC" at createwithtlc.blogspot.com. The other inspiration came from my sister in UK at craftingdi.blogspot.com She printed a card and then embossed it as soon as it came from the printer. I remember I had done this years ago but forgot about it (as you do) and when she mentioned it the other day I thought to give it a go. I used white pearl card and lightly painted in the flower and leaves with my watercolour brushes. So a big "Thank you" to Di and TLC.

Less is More Challenge - Week 13 - Congratulations or Thank you
Good Morning everyone from another beautiful day in Echemire (Loire Valley - France) The sun is shinning and its warm, just been to collect some gravel to enhance the garden around our swimming pool. No - its not yet warmer enough to swim.
I am still in Royal Wedding mode so I hope my card says it all. Die cut glasses in gold which I hand embosed to create "bubbles", my nestie shape was edged in gold and I found a gold "Congratulations". Now shall I send it to the Happy Couple !!!!!!!!!

Less is More - Challenge Week 12 - Off centre Card No 2
My inspiration...........
I was out in the garden this morning and spotted our large Shirley Poppies just coming out, they are a gorgeous red/orange with big black middles and I got inspired. I used a red metallic paper, cut with a circle nestie and my new Quickutz Cookie Cutter called "Flower" but it looks like a Dandelion Clock, for the middle. Green stem and Marianne Die cut for the leaves. The sentiment is done with my faithful design runner with a red ink cartridge. Hope this fits the bill for off centre.

FOR CHRISSI
Have a look at my first entry and I've posted a photo of the Xyron Design Runner and Disc Maker (like a mini computer with "qwerty" keyboard) You insert blank SD cards into the disc maker and it allows you to compose any message you want, save it and then use it in the Design Runner which is like a mini printed. You can also use pre-designed discs too. Not very good at explaining things technical.

Less is More Challange _ Week 12 - Off centre
Good morning everyone what another beautiful day here in the Loire. Cann't believe its a week gone since "the Acetate" challenge. We've been busy in our garden and its looking good but dare I say it "we neeed some rain" Anyway I digress here is my card for this weeks challenge. Very simple I used my design runner for the sentiment (I have problems putting card in my printer so the design runner suits me fine) A Marianne die cut for the leaves. The card stock is slightly glittered and an off white flower. Hope its "Offcentre" enough.

Thanks for your lovely comments. Chrissi my "design runner" is made by Xyron and its like a mini printer which you can buy blank discs for or programme discs with the disc maker.

Less is More Challenge - Week 11 - Acetate Take 2
This is Card No 2. I had time late afternoon (after my planting and grass cutting) and found this piece of gold printed acetate (Dawn Bibby) I used my nesties to make a frame in gold mirri card and cut a hole in the front of the card to match. Mounted the acetate onto the back of the frame - it looks very neat at the back of the card when open. I tried my hand at stamping and gold embossing (why does the card tend to bend when heating with a heat gun?) added gold card candy and this is the result.
Less is More Challenge - week 11- Acetate
My holiday must have done me good. I was instantly inspired to use my Marianne Designable folder. I have used a purple A5 card and trimmed the edge using my Rotatrim and blade Victorian. I added a few tiny pink jewels and a pink ribbon re-cycled from another card I received. (Waste not want not) I hope the design shows throu OK. Off to plant up my hanging baskets with all my plants I bought back from the UK.

Less is more Challenge - week 9 - A touch of red
I have used this image before (not for any challenges) and I have altered the layout, and recoloured the one pair of shoes to red using publisher. The other two pairs of shoes I've re-touched using my watercolour pens. Just wish I could wear heels like this now and I was 21 again. Ha Ha. Will not to able to enter next weeks Challenge we are off to the UK for 10 days, visiting friends in Cornwall and my son, d-in-l and Grandson (8 months) in Bristol, then off to the Midlands to see my sister so a lot of driving but as we don't come over very often its OK. Weather is gorgeous today so I'm off to finish mowing the grass before we leave. http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com
